I really love using ziller inks and I have for many years. Most of the colors write nicely with nib and pen. My favorites are Azure, Lagoon and white. Some colors like yellow and orange don’t show up well on darker paper or envelopes.
I love the colors of Ziller ink, but I find it very difficult to keep the ink uniformly mixed while using it. I keep thinking I need to buy some bbs to put in the bottle to help with the mixing, but I'm not even sure where to get any. I sure wish Ziller would put them in their bottles.
I bought several colors: black, midnight blue, (royal) bluer, silver and gold. I have had a hard time making the metallic colors to work. They don’t flow well and it is hard to bring the ink to a smooth mix after the pigment has gone to the bottom. All others (non-metallic) are fantastic! The flow is great and the finisher is beautiful.
