I enjoy the quality, grip, and affordability of this holder so much that I intend to purchase more, each one dedicated to a different style nib. Both the straight and oblique holders of this pen are best suited for nibs around the size of any G series nib or, at the largest: a Leonardt 40 or Brause 361 at the smallest: a Leonardt EF Principal or Gillott 303 Whether you are new to calligraphy or a seasoned flourisher this nib holder is up to the task, and at a fraction of the price of custom holders. GET THIS IF: - You want to "test the waters" of calligraphy without investing money in 2 separate nib holders. - You need a sturdy, dual purpose nib holder for travel. - You prefer holders that provide good grip for better control (this holder is covered in a soft and silky rubber-like coating. For those who may wonder, the coating does not give off any smell, rubber or otherwise). A NOTE ON QUALITY: While, in my opinion, this holder works just as well as a $20, $50, or $80 holder, it will not have the eye catching finish or unique shaping of a more expensive piece. If this is what you are looking for, seek elsewhere. On the other hand, if you simply want an affordable workhorse that provides great grip, look no further.

Really handy pen holder with a very reasonable price. Good quality of the "rubberized" handle. Handle lies well in the hand. The most common nibs (Hunts, Nikko G, Zebra G) fit very well. Don't forget about the 2-in-1 universality that is also important and convenient.
