Tom's Studio
Tom's Studio "One Dip Wonder" - Single
Tom’s Studio’s “One Dip Wonder” turns any pointed nib into a nib with an ink reservoir! Unlike broad edge nibs, pointed pens don’t include a built-in reservoir, making calligraphers have to dip and re-dip constantly. Having to dip your pen in ink half-way through writing can ruin your flow, cause an inky mess.
The 'One Dip Wonder' combines the perfect size spring with a tiny but powerful neodymium magnet creating a reservoir of ink for your calligraphy pen. All you have to do is pop it onto the back of the nib (underneath the breather hole) and you're ready to go!
Includes 1 spring. See photo for example of where to place your One Dip Wonder. Watch this video to see how long you can write without having to re-dip.

Such a Convenience
I heard about these in a newsletter Paper Ink & Arts sent out and was really interested in trying them, as I’ve always wished my dip could last longer. I’m pleased to say that these definitely lengthen the amount of time between dips and are so incredibly simple to install. I absolutely love the magnet that I can attach to any nib I choose (saving me from paying several dollars more for specific nibs with the feature permanently built in). What really bummed me out when getting this is how simple it is though: it’s literally just a craft magnet and a spring. And they’re not even attached. It looks like something I could easily make on my own.
