Good Introduction Nib Holder
This is my 3rd Speedball holder purchase and I still have the first 2 I ever acquired, both of which have lasted through years of use. The Speedball straight nib holder is a great introduction holder for new calligraphers. GET THIS IF: - You are looking for a "universal" tipped nib holder that will work with a large variety of nibs - You are new to calligraphy and are wanting an affordable option that works just as well and at a fraction of the price of custom high end straight nib holders. A NOTE ON QUALITY: While, in my opinion, this holder will work just as well as $10, or $30 holder it will not have the unique or high quality finish of a more expensive piece. If this is what you are looking for, seek elsewhere. On the other hand, if you simply need a functional and affordable intro piece, you've found it.
