Schmincke Calligraphy Gouache was designed specifically for use in dip pen calligraphy and illumination. Brilliant, opaque colors are made from finely ground pigments that flow smoothly, are incredibly lightfast, and maintain color vibrancy for decades. Reconstitutes easily if it has dried in your pan or pen.
For best results, use a dropper bottle to slowly add water to the gouache until the consistency resembles a thin cream. Colors are fully intermixable and a full shades of grays can be created using Jet Black and Opaque White. 20 mL tube.
