I bought the full 24 pack of these markers, since I heard that the tips were great for hand lettering. Compared to some of its competitors, like the Tombow fudenosuke, or the Writech brush pens, these are a bit clumsier and floppier, but the color selection really is wonderful. I’m not crazy about about Pentel’s first set of the basic 12 colors, but this newer release of pastel and jewel tones aren’t like any you’ll find in this size and quality of marker. As far as how they write: they’re clumsier than other markers because the tip is longer and floppier than other small brush markers. This makes them harder to control. Otherwise, no complaints!
