"The theme for this virtual milestone exhibit, 'Letters Nurtured in Solitude,' was chosen because that is what we artists often do. We retreat to our inspiring sanctuaries and studios to develop our responses to the outside climate from a place of introspection. We sketch, we re-work, we experiment and problem-solve. And finally, we reveal these expressions that are our artwork. An explosion of letterforms, color, and image from a most unusual crucible. The handwritten word is at once both a deeply insular, yet extroverted form of visual communication." ––Introduction, Tamara Stoneburner.
Paperback; 56 pages; 8.25" x 10.75"
