Nicker Colour Co., LTD is a Japanese paint manufacturer that delivers high-quality, exceptionally saturated paints that are highly acclaimed amongst professionals in calligraphy, design, and animation industries; they have even been used in Japanese animation studios like Studio Ghibli to paint backgrounds.
Nicker's Poster Colour is made with superior quality finely ground pigments and is much different from anything marketed as "poster paint" in the American art supply market. Similar to gouache, this dense pigment ink can be thinned to be used with pointed pens, broad pens, brushes, and waterbrushes for gorgeous calligraphy, painting, lettering, and design work. Nicker Poster Colour features pure gum arabic as a binder, which allows for a remarkably smooth spread. In addition, it can be used for various watercolor techniques with little side effects due to the manufacturing method with no excess additives. It is a versatile paint that can be used as both an opaque and transparent watercolor.
