Awesome white liner
This pencil leaves a clean, sharp, white line with no dust. The "lead" doesn't break as easily as most colored mechanical pencil leads I've used. I bought it to use for calligraphy, but now I'm thinking of getting another to use in my sewing studio, which is what it's really meant for!

The ONLY Tool for Lining Dark Envelopes!
When providing envelope calligraphy, dark colored envelopes or envelopes with liners pose a challenge--unless you are one of the gifted who manage to calligraph in a straight line with no guides. That is SO not me! With light pads ineffective, enter the Fons and Porter Fine White Mechanical Pencil/Liner. It helps to have a pre-made template for each size envelope so all you need to do is gently pencil in your guides with the white lead. Once the ink is dry, the guide lines erase beautifully (HINT: use a kneaded eraser or black eraser for dark cardstock). Just be sure to draw lines with light pressure as there is no way to "erase" indentations in the cardstock.I'm coming back today to purchase my second pencil with leads. This is a tool I don't want to do without if I misplace it temporarily. Top quality at a great price. Thank you Paper & Ink Arts for offering this product!
