Polychromos pencils are valued internationally by professionals and semi-professionals for their best-in-class quality. Superior quality pigments are incredibly lightfast, have a buttery-smooth laydown, and are easily blendable for layered effects, highlights, and transitions. Thick 3.8mm leads are break and water-resistant, smudgeproof, and provide permanent, rich color.

Each core is housed in premium California cedar wood casing with SV bonding to strengthen lead and resist breakage, while providing sharp fine lines and excellent point retention. Polychromos pencils have an oil-based technology for blending smoothly without the concern of waxy bloom that results with wax-based colored pencils. Pencils come pre-sharpened.
