Love These!
These inks are so much fun. Dr. Ph. Martin’s puts out exceptional ink as it is, and the fact that they come in so many fun colors—and also have iridescent sets—is beyond exciting. You’ll find the same amazing, versatile, durable quality from Ph. Martin’s in both their Bombay (non-iridescent) inks as well as their iridescents, but the consistency of the iridescent inks is definitely a bit different. These must be shaken vigorously before use to stir up the shiny bits within the ink that settle at the bottom after time. They also dry exceptionally permanent, as they’re made with shellac and will not remove with water once dry. They tend to stop up the dropper that comes in the cap of the ink bottle and require some substantial excavation if left long enough. I actually have a metal screw with large threads I use to ream out my droppers every now and then. That’s really the only frustrating part about these inks. Their sheen once dry is impeccable and colors are so numerous (look for set 1 as well!) and vibrant. They liven up almost any piece of work and are so much fun to use.
