ALL SKILL LEVELS | POINTED PEN
This is an introductory class to Engrosser’s Script - a formal style of Copperplate that emerged in the 19th century in the United States. This elegant script is characterized by its breakdown of each letter into multiple strokes, making it a perfect way to enhance your overall letterform, spacing, and writing rhythm.
This course is tailored for complete beginners as well as more experienced calligraphers looking to refine their dip pen skills. We will have fun exploring the history of Engrosser’s Script, the fundamental principles for both minuscules and majuscules, and I will share valuable tips and tricks for achieving the striking contrast between thick swells and delicate hairlines. This class will provide you with knowledge and techniques to master Engrosser’s Script.
