The Floral Gallery with Barbara Close
This course will take you from basics to more boundless explorations with the pointed pen script, Copperplate. It is exciting to see what this wonderful little pointed nib can do. We will try some alternative views to the letters themselves, then I will show some floral ideas from some of my sample books and together we will create a garden wonderland. Whether you're a new or seasoned calligrapher, you'll enjoy seeing your pointed pen create some simple but elegant techniques for your letters to make your work come alive and allows the images of the florals to work together hand in hand.
