The rich and intense colors of Gansai Tambi are handcrafted, professional-quality pigment inks. These fine-caliber watercolors are highly blendable, with a creamy-smooth consistency found only in traditional Japan. These watercolors can be as opaque as gouache when used with little water. To achieve a more transparent effect, dilute the paints with water and blend until the desired consistency and opacity is reached.
Perfect for calligraphy, brush lettering, illustration, and much more. Includes 24 removable 1 pans and a paper color chart to make your own swatches.

My Go-to Watercolors
These watercolors are different than many I've used before! They can be as transparent as typical watercolors, or as opaque as gouache. The colors are super vibrant and blend well together. I also love that you can create your own color swatches on the back of the green cover. I've had this set for months, and I'm not even close to using up any color. Highly recommend!
