The Manuscript G is more flexible than typical G nibs like the Nikko and Zebra, but is less durable and breaks down more easily. Marketed as a "general handwriting" nib, the Manuscript G produces good line variation, holds a lot of ink, and is very smooth. Good universal nib
I highly reccommend this nib to beginners since it is quite flexible (much more than Nikko G), sharp enough to easily start a stroke, but smooth enough not to catch up on the upstroke. It is a good universal nib.
