Mastering Composition in Graphite with Irina Neascu
This class is suitable for beginners and intermediates. It consists of various fast exercises on composition. Playing with various subjects, we will discuss how to approach, or rather not to approach the positive and the negative space, the relations between elements, depth of field, focus point and balance.
Supply list:
- Pencils of one’s choice. As the exercise will focus on composition and not hatching, a few different pencils can be useful, but it is no need for the whole range. I recommend HB, B, 2B
- Eraser and sharpener
- Paper of one’s choice, size A4 or A3 – I prefer A3
- Tracing paper
- Tape
