- Mechanical Pencil - 0.5 or 0.3 and leads (my favorite is the 0.3 Pentel Graph Gear 500)
- A few drawing pencils in various hardness (6B, 4B, 2B, HB, 2H, 4H) Bring whatever you already have
- Graphite stick and/or woodless graphite pencil (6B or 9B)
- Water-soluble graphite stick - Lyra or Art Graf brand 6B or 9B (look for the water drop on the label)
- Art Graf Black Carbon Water-Soluble Ink Block
- Kneaded eraser/White eraser
- White eraser stick (preferably the Tombow Mono zero round or Paper Mate "Tuff Stuff"
- Your favorite writing tools (larger sizes of nibs, ruling pens, automatic pens, flat and round brushes - you wont need any ink ... trust me)
- Blending Stump
- X-acto knife, blades
- cutting matt
- Scissors
- Small pencil sharpener (no motors please)
- Glue stick
- PVA
- Double stick tape
- Steel ruler and C-thru ruler
- Large bristle brush for wetting paper (1" or 2")
- Mid-weight drawing paper - Strathmore 400 series drawing paper 11x17, but any size will do, or whatever similar paper you have
- Few pages of any other papers you want to try
- Heavy Papers - a few pieces of water friend heavier papers (Fabriano or Arches W/C paper and any cheaper watercolor (Canson XL) or heavy weight paper you already have
- Paper towels
- baby wipes
- water container
- small spray bottle
- A short quote or a few wors you like to write (5 - 10 words) plus a few other texts you like
- Drawing Board/padded surface to work on - Not Available
- NOT REQUIRED -- the sketchbook I use and recommend is the Moleskine 7.5x10 plain soft cover notebook - Not available
