Each pastel is meticulously shaped by hand, eschewing molds for a unique touch that ensures a smooth, flowing application. With pumice infused into every pigment, these pastels offer an unparalleled vibrancy and texture, enabling effortless layering and mixing to bring your artistic visions to life. As delicate as they are versatile, Diane Townsend pastels are balanced with just the right amount of chalk, clay, and other supportive materials. This ensures optimal performance on various surfaces, from paper to canvas, allowing you to explore and express your creativity without limits.
Set 1 consists of two Terrages pastels. This pastel is designed for a more vigorous approach to drawing. They are larger and more square than the Soft Form pastels, and are good for larger works on an easel or wall. Approx. 1.5″ long and 1″ across , and 6/8″ thick.
Sets 2 and 3 consist of three Soft Form pastels. Soft Form pastels are designed to fit in your hand and with easel painting in mind. They are easy to apply, pick up, and put down as you work. Approx. 1.75″ long and 3/4″thick.
Sets contain the following colors:
- Set 1: Light Yellow-Green (163) and Pale Green (153).
- Set 2: Lavender (13) Medium Pink (94) and Medium Blue (30L)
- Set 3: Green Metallic (607) Bronze Metallic (604) and Gold Metallic (605).
