The Leonardt 33 closely resembles the Brause EF66 in appearance, but is larger in size. Soft and flexible, the 33 produces amazing line variations and is a great choice for a variety of artistic endeavors: drawing, Copperplate, Spencerian, modern calligraphy, and more. This nib is a little too flexible for beginners, and is recommended for intermediate or advanced calligraphers.

Leonardt 33 Nib
This nib is awesome even though I tend to be a tad too sloppy with it. I like to throw this job into my straight holder, just for fun, and it does surprisingly well. I'd say there is a definite learning curve to this nib, but it's quite easy to at least understand how the nib will respond, which should dictate how you use this nib. I think this is a really cool nib, and for $1.09, even I don't care if I junk one up for a dollar. I think, but I may be wrong, there is a special holder for this nib somewhere on this page. I haven't looked real hard, but I remember getting this nib about 10 years ago, and bought the "special" straight holder for it. If you can find the dedicated holder, get it. You won't be sorry. It is a straight pen holder, so maybe look for it there?
